How To Get Shards of Agony in Diablo 4
Diablo 4's post-story gameplay offers a variety of Diablo 4 Gold powerful bosses to fight, but to summon them, players need materials such as Shards of Agony. Obtaining even one unit of this item may take hours, but it's worth it. The purpose of Shards of Agony is to summon Duriel, the main endgame boss.
However, to get the necessary ingredients, you will have to try hard to do a lot of stuff, including collecting Aberrant Cinders and defeating another post-story boss. Stock up on potions and equipment with lightning protection, and we will guide you along the right path.
The only way to get Shards of Agony in Diablo 4 is to defeat Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint in World Tier 4. To accomplish this, you must go to the Hall of the Penitent in the eastern part of Dindai Flats. But before you rush into battle, consider a few essential conditions:
Firstly, you can challenge this boss on World Tier 3, but you will not receive Shards of Agony. This reward is exclusive to the highest difficulty level, so keep that in mind.
In addition, Shards of Agony will only be awarded to the player who activated the boss summoning altar. Therefore, if you are fighting in a group, only one of you will receive the most valuable resource for summoning Duriel.
Even if you have completed all the requirements, there is always a negligible chance that you will not receive Shards of Agony. So just try again if you didn’t get lucky the first time.
To summon Grigoire in World Tier 4, you must place 5 Living Steel on the altar in the Hall of the Penitent. You can get this material from the Tortured Gifts of Living Steel chest during Helltide events. In turn, this event occurs once every 75 minutes in a random location on the map and buy Diablo 4 Gold. By participating in Helltide on World Tier 4, you can get 3 Living Steel from each chest, so you can collect the required amount in one event. But keep in mind that opening each Tortured Gifts of Living Steel will cost you 300 Aberrant Cinders.
